 91 000 74051 LATICRETE 73 Crete Admix is a liquid latex-based admixture that replaces water when mixing Portland-cement + sand mortars or adhesive powders. When used instead of water, it produces a polymer-fortified mortar or adhesive with superior flexibility, adhesion, and strength compared to conventional cement-sand mortar.

Combined with a compatible cementitious powder (e.g. LATICRETE 111 or 211 series), 73 Crete Admix results in a high-performance tile/stone adhesive or thin-bed mortar, suitable for demanding installations. 

• Stronger bond & better adhesion: Mortars made with 73 Crete Admix bond more strongly to substrates than regular cement-sand mixes important for secure installations of tiles, vitrified tiles, natural stone, mosaics, etc. 

• Increased flexibility and impact/shock resistance: The polymer-modified mortar can better absorb movement, stresses, thermal expansion/contraction reducing risk of cracks or de-bonding. Suitable for wet & dry applications, interior & exterior: Works well in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, terraces, swimming pools, fountains anywhere tile or stone needs to adhere reliably, even in presence of moisture or water. Non-flammable & easy to use: As a liquid admixture, 73 Crete Admix is non-flammable and replaces water straightforwardly simplifying mixing and improving reliability of results vs. inconsistent on-site cement-sand mixes. Certified and standards-compliant when used with compatible powder: The system (73 Crete Admix + cement-based powder) meets standards such as EN 12004 C2 TE for tile adhesives

• Its ideal for producing thin-bed tile adhesives (for ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, natural stone, mosaics), or polymer-modified mortar beds/adhesives for floors and walls, indoors or outdoors.
