The surface must be clean, dry, and sound.Q2: How do I apply it correctly?A:Prepare Surface: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, and loose materials.Prime if Needed: On porous, rough, dusty, or cold surfaces (<15C), use Bostik Flashband Primer for better adhesion.Cut & Position: Cut to length, remove a small section of the release backing, and position the tape.Press & Roll: Firmly press into place and use a seam roller to smooth out the tape, ensuring full contact and expelling any air bubbles.Overlap: Overlap adjacent strips by a minimum of 25mm for a watertight seal.Q3: Can it be used in cold weather?A: Yes, but with precautions. The substrate temperature must be between +5C to +30C. In cold weather, it is recommended to warm both the surface and the Flashband roll overnight before application to improve adhesion.Q4: Does it require a primer?A: It is mandatory on porous, rough, or dusty surfaces, and highly recommended in cold weather.
