About ULTRATECH TILE ADHESIVE

•  91 000 74051 TileFixo PU 2K is a two-component, polyurethane-based tile & stone adhesive from the TileFixo range. 

• Unlike typical cement-based adhesives, PU 2K is formulated to bond tiles/stones over a broad variety of substrates including cementitious surfaces, metals, glass, plywood/wood, drywall boards, existing tiles/stones, epoxy/PU surfaces, etc.

• It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, and for floors and walls  making it one of the most versatile adhesives in the TileFixo lineup.

• Fixing all types of tiles and stones, including engineered stones and metal-backed tiles. 

• Tile or stone installation over non-standard substrates  e.g. metal, glass, plywood, drywall, existing tile/stone, or PU/epoxy surfaces where cement-based adhesives may not perform well. 

• Both flooring and wall cladding, inside or outside, making it suitable for versatile tile-on-tile or renovation work where substrate conditions vary. 

• Two-component polyurethane adhesive  provides high strength bonding and better substrate compatibility than standard cement adhesives. 

• Wide substrate compatibility  works not only on cementitious surfaces but also on metal, glass, wood/plywood, drywall boards, epoxy/PU surfaces, existing tiles/stones, etc. 

• Suitable for interior and exterior applications, for floors and walls offers flexibility for different parts of a house or building. 

• Can fix all tile/stone types  from ceramic/vitrified to natural stones and engineered stones, giving broad material flexibility. 

Use TileFixo PU 2K when:

• You are laying tiles/stones over non-cement or unconventional substrates: metal frames, plywood under-floors, drywall partitions, old tiles, glass, etc.

• The project involves renovation or tile-on-tile work where existing floor or wall tiles need to be covered.

• You need a strong, durable bond for heavy tiles/stone or engineered stone especially when substrate quality or type is uncertain.

• You require exterior or interior tiling with flexibility in substrate and tile material.

• As a two-component polyurethane adhesive, application needs correct mixing and handling it is not a simple mix-with-water like cement-based adhesives. 

• Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and properly prepared PU adhesives generally require good substrate preparation for reliable adhesion, especially on non-traditional surfaces.

• Because its more advanced than basic adhesives, it might be more expensive but thats the tradeoff for versatility and stronger bonding across varied conditions.
