About NCL TILOSTIK- TE 105 TILE ADHESIVE

•  91 000 74051 NCL Tilostik is a cement-based, polymer-modified thin-bed tile adhesive from NCL Buildtek. 

• Its distributed as a dry-powder adhesive. On-site you simply add water (single-pack system) and mix no need for custom cement-sand mixes. 

• It is meant for fixing tiles (ceramic, vitrified, certain stones) and is suitable for both wall and floor applications on leveled, prepared substrates (concrete, screed, cement plaster, etc.). 

• Color / appearance: Grey (or white version depending on supply) dry powder.

• Mixing with water  roughly 2530% water by weight is recommended for proper consistency. 

• Pot life / working time: ~ 180 minutes after mixing (gives you sufficient time for application) 

• Bed thickness (adhesive layer): minimum ~ 3 mm, can vary depending on tile size and job requirements. 

• Open time (time you have to adjust tiles after placing adhesive): > 20 minutes (at ~25 C) gives flexibility during installation. 

• Coverage (approx): For a 3 mm bed thickness stated as > 3 sqft per kg (so a 20 kg bag covers significantly, though actual depends on trowel size, tile size, substrate condition). Time to traffic (after which you can walk / grout / use floor): ~ 24 hours after laying. 

• Because its polymer-modified and premixed, it gives a strong, reliable bond  better and more consistent than traditional cement-sand mortar mixing onsite. 

• It helps avoid hollowness (voids or air-gaps under tiles) even under stone or compact tiles, giving a solid, stable finish for floors.

• Versatile usable for interior and exterior applications, on walls and floors, on various cementitious substrates (plaster, screed, concrete) good for residential and commercial / renovation jobs. 

• Because of consistent factory-prepared mix, it reduces labor, wastage, and variation compared to manual mortar mixes convenient for faster tile installation. 

• The substrate (floor/wall surface) must be clean, level, stable, free of dust/oil/loose particles for good adhesion (as with any tile adhesive).

• While advertised for tiles and stones, performance will depend on tile/stone type make sure tile porosity / size / weight is within what Tilostik is suitable for (moderate to normal-size tiles, not extremely heavy slabs).

• Use proper trowel notch size (as recommended by installer) and apply adhesive evenly for full bed coverage to avoid weak bonding or hollow spots.
