•  91 000 74051 NCL LFT Flex Adhesive TE-204 is a cement-based, polymer-modified thin-bed adhesive. 

• It is supplied as a factory-premixed dry powder  on site you add water to mix (single-pack, ready-to-use) instead of doing a cement-sand mortar mix. 

• Its intended for fixing extra-large format tiles and stones  including vitrified/porcelain tiles, slim tiles, natural stones (marble, granite), engineered stones on properly prepared floors or walls. 

According to NCLs product description, TE-204 offers these properties: 

• High bonding strength  ensures full-bed contact under tiles/stone, avoiding hollow-voids or poor adhesion often seen with traditional mortar.Very good flexibility & impact resistance  polymer modification gives it some flexibility, which helps in areas where substrate or tile might experience slight movement, thermal variation or impact.

• Water resistant  suitable for wet-areas installation (bathrooms, balconies, exterior, etc.) when substrate & tiles are suitable.

• Suitable for interior & exterior applications, including wall and floor and reportedly usable for external cladding up to about 15 ft from ground level (as per manufacturer note) when correctly applied. 

• Single-pack (powder + water) and factory premixed: makes on-site mixing simpler, more consistent quality, less wastage vs traditional mortar.

• Works for tiles / stones with low porosity (porosity < ~3 %)  good for vitrified/porcelain, slim tiles, marble/ granite etc. 

Use TE-204 when you have:

• Large-format vitrified/porcelain tiles, slim tiles, natural stones (marble, granite, engineered stone) to install on floors or walls.

• Both interior and exterior tiling jobs e.g. balconies, terraces, external walls (within recommended height limits).

• Areas requiring water resistance and durability bathrooms, kitchens, wet balconies, external exposures (with proper waterproofing measures).

• Substrate preparation is crucial: surface must be properly cleaned, levelled, stable, free of loose particles, dust, oil, paint etc. Poor substrate prep will reduce adhesion strength as with any tile adhesive.

• Tile porosity: best suited for low-porosity tiles/stones (vitrified/porcelain/slim/stone). Highly porous tiles or surfaces with high moisture absorption may not bond optimally.

• Full-bed application recommended ensure adhesive bed and coverage is uniform under tile to prevent hollow spots.

• For exterior tiling or wet zones  additional waterproofing / drainage / sealing measures should be considered (adhesive helps but is not a substitute for full waterproofing).

• Check load / stress conditions: For extremely heavy slabs or very large stones ensure adhesive + substrate + backing are all compatible.

TE 204 is a modern, polymer-modified thin-bed adhesive suitable when you want strong, durable, water-resistant tile/stone fixing  especially for large-format tiles or stones, interior or exterior floors/walls with less labour and more consistent results than traditional mortar-based methods.
