About MYK LATICRETE 600 SERIES UNSANDED GROUT

  •  91 000 74051 This is a cement-based, polymer-modified unsanded grout (not epoxy).

  • Designed for tile/stone joints of width ~ 1 mm to 3 mm  so fairly narrow joints.

  • Works with a variety of surfaces: ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, glass mosaics, granite, marble and other natural or engineered stones.

  • Comes in multiple packaging sizes (commonly 1 kg or 10 kg) and a wide range of colours (over 30+).

Key Features & Benefits
  • Smooth, non-scratching finish  since it's unsanded, its safer for polished tiles, glass tiles, marble and delicate surfaces where sanded grout could scratch.

  • Good adhesion & durability  polymer modification improves strength and bonding compared to plain cement grout.

  • Weather- and water-resistant  suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Colour-fast and uniform  grout retains its colour over time without significant fading.

  • Economical & easy to apply  widely available and a cost-effective option for narrow grout lines.

Where its Best Used

Use this grout when:

  • Joints between tiles/stones are narrow (1 3 mm) for example, wall tiles, small floor tiles, mosaic, or polished stone surfaces.

  • You have delicate or polished tiles (e.g. marble, glass mosaic, vitrified tiles) unsanded grout reduces risk of scratching.

  • You want a smooth, fine finish on tile walls or floors without visible sand particles.

  • You need a budget-friendly, versatile grout for regular residential or commercial tiling jobs.

Things to Keep in Mind / Limitations
  • Because its unsanded and meant for narrow joints, its not suitable for wider grout joints (> 3 mm) for those, a sanded grout would be better. As a cement-based grout, it may not offer the same stain-resistance or chemical resistance as high-end epoxy grouts.

  • Proper mixing and application is needed (optionally with a grout-admixture for better performance) to achieve good strength and avoid shrinkage/cracking

Superior Performance for Fine Joints

MYK LATICRETE 600 Series Unsanded Grout is specially formulated for filling narrow tile joints (1-3 mm). Its high compressive strength (>30 MPa) and excellent abrasion resistance ensure long-lasting performance in both residential and commercial settings. The grout's smooth texture delivers a refined finish that resists shrinkage and supports mold and mildew resistance, making it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and wet areas.

Easy Mixing & Application

Thanks to its ideal mixing ratio (0.35-0.38 L water per 1 kg), the MYK LATICRETE 600 Series is easy to prepare, ensuring homogeneity and workability for optimal joint filling. The grout offers a practical pot life of 1.5-2 hours at 27C, allowing sufficient time for application. With negligible shrinkage and a curing process that includes an initial set in 5-6 hours, completing tile grouting projects is both efficient and reliable.

Safe, Durable, and Versatile

Formulated to be non-toxic and non-combustible, this unsanded grout is safe for installers and end-users alike. It remains odorless and offers a high degree of mold and mildew resistance. Suitable for a variety of surfaces and available in several color options, it adapts perfectly to aesthetic and practical requirements for walls and floors indoors or outdoors.
