 91 000 74051 MYK LATICRETE HYDRO BAN is a high-performance, liquid-applied waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane. Its a single-component, self-curing liquid rubber polymer that forms a flexible, seamless, load-bearing waterproof barrier when applied, without the need for fabric reinforcement even in corners or coves. 

• Thin and seamless  when cured, the membrane is only about 0.5 mm0.8 mm (0.020"0.030") thick. 

• Flexible & crack-bridging  offers anti-fracture protection, capable of bridging substrate cracks up to ~3 mm ( 1/8"). 

• Fast curing & early flood-testing  under suitable conditions, allows flood testing as early as 2448 hours after application. 

• Bonds to diverse substrates  adheres directly to concrete, cement plaster/screed, cement mortar beds, cement backer boards, brick masonry, even metal or PVC plumbing fixtures (subject to guidelines)

• Tiles/stones can be installed directly  supports tiling, brickwork or stone finishes directly over the cured membrane without additional layers. 

• Safe & durable  non-flammable, solvent-free, meets recognized waterproofing standards (e.g. ANSI A118.10 / A118.12), and includes antimicrobial protection to resist mold and mildew. 

Hydro BAN is suitable for a wide range of waterproofing needs including: 

• Bathrooms, shower pans and stalls wet areas in residential or commercial properties. 

• Kitchens, laundries, utility areas zones prone to moisture or water spillage. 

• Balconies, terraces, decks exterior or semi-exterior spaces requiring waterproofing over mortar or concrete base. 

• Swimming pools, fountains, water bodies where reliable waterproofing and crack-isolation are critical. 

• Under tile/stone installations tile, brick or stone floors/walls built directly over the membrane. 

• Supplied in pails (typical industrial/commercial sizes) as liquid membrane. 

• Coverage roughly 225250 sq.ft per 20-litre pail (two coats typical, depending on substrate and application). 

• Eliminates need for fabric rolls or sheet membranes simpler, faster application.
