 91 000 74051 SmartCare Block Jointing Mortar is a ready-to-use cement-based mortar specially formulated for joining and bedding masonry blocks such as AAC blocks, concrete blocks, fly ash bricks, and similar materials. It is designed for ease of use, good adhesion, and improved structural integrity in wall construction.

• Ready-to-Use Cement Mortar: Factory-blended mix, requiring only water on site for preparation. 

• Non-Shrink & Self-Curing: Reduces cracking and eliminates the need for external curing once mixed. 

• Excellent Adhesion: Provides strong bonding between block courses for durable walls. 

• Flexible: Can accommodate slight movement or thermal expansion without cracking. 

• Fast & Easy Application: Smooth consistency helps quick laying of blocks with minimal effort.

• Jointing of AAC blocks, concrete blocks & fly-ash bricks in masonry work.Internal and external brick/block wall construction. 

• Suitable for load-bearing and nonload-bearing walls.

• Appearance: Grey powder. 

• Mixing: Add approximately 2527 % water by weight to the powder and mix to a smooth paste.

• Coverage: Around 34 kg per sq m at ~3 mm thickness (approx.). 

• Pot Life: Several hours (depending on conditions) allowing adequate working time. 

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure blocks are clean, free of dust, oil, and loose particles before laying. 

2. Mixing: Place clean water in a container and gradually add the mortar powder while mixing to a smooth, lump-free consistency. 

3. Masonry Application: Spread a uniform layer of mortar on block faces and joints, then place the next block, pressing to achieve alignment and plumb walls.Finishing: Remove excess mortar and ensure joints are tight and compact.

• Commonly supplied in 40 kg bags.
