91 000 74051 Bronze Star - Polymer Modified Tile Adhesive for Interior Walls & Floors is a grey, polymer-modified cementitious adhesive designed for fixing small-format ceramic and clay tiles on interior walls and floors. It offers easy application, good adhesion, and is perfect for dry indoor areas like bedrooms, living rooms, and corridors. It conforms to Indian Standard IS 15477:2019.

Q2: Can it be used in bathrooms or wet areas?

A: No. Bronze Star is designed for interior dry situations only. For bathrooms, balconies, or wet areas, a waterproof adhesive is required.

Q3: What is the coverage area per bag?

A: Coverage depends on the trowel size:

6mm x 6mm trowel: 67-71 sq. ft per 20kg bag

8mm x 8mm trowel: 50-54 sq. ft per 20kg bag

12mm x 12mm trowel: 34-36 sq. ft per 20kg bag

A: For a 20kg bag, use 4.2 to 4.8 liters of clean water. Never add extra water after mixing.

Q6: How can I increase its flexibility and water resistance?

A: You can add ADMIX AD1 (a latex additive). For a 20kg bag, use 3.2-3.8 liters of water + 1 liter of ADMIX AD1. This enhances adhesion and flexibility.

Q7: How long does it take to set?

A: The adhesive sets in 24 hours. Avoid foot traffic until then. Grouting can be done after 24 hours.

Q8: What is the shelf life?

A: It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place in its original, unopened bag.

Q9: What surfaces can it be applied on?

A: It can be applied on cement sand screed and cement plaster. Ensure the surface is dry, clean, and solid. New screeds should be cured for 3 weeks before tiling.
