91 000 74051 Dr. Fixit Roofseal Classic Grey is a single-component, elastomeric waterproofing coating based on PU-Acrylic hybrid emulsion, reinforced with nano-fibers. Designed to form a seamless flexible membrane that protects roof surfaces from water seepage, heat, UV degradation, and structural micro-movement. Ideal for both new & old roofs, terraces, screeds, tile & mosaic surfaces, and provides a combination of waterproofing and heat insulation benefits.
Q1. Can I use Roofseal Classic Grey over an existing waterproofing layer?Yes, provided the existing layer is sound, clean, free of loose particles, moss/algae removed, and surface properly prepared. Minor cracks should be filled first. Q2. How many coats and how thick should each coat be?Typically two coats. The first coat is applied and allowed to dry (~4-6 hrs), then the second coat perpendicular to the first. Total dry film thickness (DFT) ~450-500 microns. Q3. How soon after application can I expose it to rainfall?Avoid rain for at least 48 hours after application to allow proper setting / curing. Surface temperature should be between ~10-35 C during application. Q4. Is Roofseal Classic Grey suitable for heavy foot traffic?It is suitable for light foot traffic; for heavy traffic, protective screeds or foot-paths should be added. Q5.
